Union State Bank is inviting customers in both Kansas and Oklahoma to join in a pair of upcoming Customer Appreciation events designed to celebrate community connections, introduce new technology, and kick off the summer season.
In Bartlesville, Oklahoma, festivities will take place on Thursday, May 8, featuring a full day of activities designed to thank customers while showcasing the branch’s new deposit-taking ATM. Guests can enjoy cookies and punch throughout the day, with hot dogs and brats served from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. During that same time, customers who try the new ATM in the drive-through will receive $5 to deposit into their USB account.
“We are having a customer appreciation day in conjunction with celebrating the kick off of our new ATM that accepts deposits,” said Michael Dennis, SVP and Bartlesville Market President for Union State Bank. “Between the hours of 11:00 and 1:00 we will be giving $5 to any customer who wants to come use the new deposit taking ATM.”
In addition to food and demonstrations, giveaway items will also be available, adding to the festive atmosphere.
The Bartlesville team sees the event as an opportunity to connect on a more personal level with the people they serve every day. “We’re excited to invite our valued customers, both new and longtime, to stop by our Bartlesville Branch for a fun midday event,” said Amanda Conrad, Director of Retail Operations for Union state Bank. “Getting to know our customers on a personal level is something we truly value. You are the reason we can open our doors each day, and we want you to know how much you are appreciated.”
Alongside the celebration, the new deposit-taking ATM brings added convenience for customers who need flexibility. The machine allows for both cash and check deposits outside of traditional banking hours, including evenings and weekends. This upgrade reflects the bank’s continued investment in technology that aligns with customers’ busy schedules.
Following the Bartlesville celebration, Union State Bank will host its Winfield, Kansas Customer Appreciation event on Friday, May 15. The gathering will take place from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and feature fresh-cut watermelon, popcorn, and bank giveaways, along with an opportunity to experience the newly installed deposit-taking ATM at that location.
“We will be celebrating our customers with fresh cut watermelon, popcorn, USB souvenirs as well as guidance on using our new deposit taking ATM with a $5 cash deposit just for trying it out,” said Pamela Asche, Branch Coordinator for Union State Bank.
The Winfield event also emphasizes relationship-building, giving staff a chance to engage with customers beyond typical day-to-day interactions. “Our staff are looking forward to the opportunity to interact with our customers in a way that is different from the everyday interactions that we are used to,” said Cory Helmer, SVP and Winfield Market President for Union State Bank. “Winfield has a strong customer base, and it is important for the bank to celebrate and acknowledge how important each customer has been to the growth of Union State Bank.”
A key feature of the Winfield celebration is the expanded access provided by the new ATM technology. “I’m excited to show our customers the convenience of banking 24/7,” Asche said. “Offering both cash and check deposits outside of traditional banking hours makes managing finances easier than ever.”
Both events highlight Union State Bank’s commitment to its customers and the communities it serves. More than just a day of refreshments and giveaways, these celebrations are a reflection of the bank’s appreciation for the trust and loyalty of its customers.
“It’s important that we celebrate our customers,” Asche added. “Without you, we wouldn’t be us.”
With additional celebrations planned for other markets throughout the summer, customers in Bartlesville and Winfield are encouraged to stop by, enjoy the festivities, and experience new conveniences that make banking easier, anytime, anywhere.
