Union State Bank announces Michael Dennis has been named Senior Vice President and Bartlesville Market President. Dennis assumes the role from Jeanna Breech who remains with the organization as she prepares for her future retirement.

Breech, who has led the Bartlesville branch for the past twelve-years, expressed confidence in the leadership transition.

“I am very proud of the Bartlesville Branch and what we have accomplished with our great staff and want our location to continue to be successful when I retire later this year,” exclaimed Breech. “I feel like Michael Dennis is the perfect fit to carry on our values, work ethic and excellent customer service.”

A lifelong Oklahoma resident, Dennis brings more than seventeen-years of banking experience to his new role. He has proudly served the Bartlesville area as a commercial lender, building strong, trusted relationships with business owners, ranchers and community leaders.

“I grew up in Pawnee, Oklahoma farming and ranching, and graduated from Oklahoma State University with an Ag Business degree,” said Dennis. “Once I got into banking I found I enjoyed it and I’ve never looked back.”

Dennis joined Union State Bank in December as part of a planned leadership transition for the Bartlesville market. Since that time, he has focused on building relationships with the local team and customers to ensure a smooth and seamless change in leadership.

“It has been a lot of fun getting to know the team here in Bartlesville,” Dennis said. “They are a great group of individuals who show up every day and work hard to serve our customers.”

In his new role, Dennis will continue his professional and personal commitment to the community. Throughout his banking career, he has served on numerous boards and nonprofit organizations. He is heavily involved with Ducks Unlimited, currently serving as both an area and district chairman.

“I enjoy helping customers grow their businesses and improve their lives by meeting their financial needs,” Dennis said. “Community involvement has always been important to me, and I plan to continue investing my time and energy in the Bartlesville area.”

Dennis hopes to build on the strong foundation established under Breech’s leadership and expand the bank’s presence in the market.

“Jeanna has done a great job positioning Union State Bank for success in Bartlesville,” he said. “I want to see USB continue to grow in this market and increase our footprint in the area while maintaining the high level of service our customers expect.”

Breech will continue to be full-time with Union State Bank, serving as Senior Vice President and Commercial Lender at the Bartlesville branch until her retirement. Following her retirement, she plans to devote more time to her family’s cattle operation, attend her grandchildren’s activities and travel.

“Events in our lives tend to make us understand how valuable life is and we should make the best of our time here,” explained Breech. “

She emphasized that continuity for customers remains a top priority.

“Michael is doing a great job, has a good client base and is a great asset to Union State Bank,” said Breech. “I will continue to assist all my clients with their banking needs, including accounts and loans, as we make this transition.”

Dennis echoed that commitment to continuity.

“Customer service has always been a top priority of mine throughout my career and it’s great to have Jeanna here as she transitions to retirement,” said Dennis. We want this to be as seamless as possible as Kirk (Hamilton) and I get to know her customers and continue meeting their expectations.”

Dennis and Breech both office out of Union State Bank’s Bartlesville branch located at 4110 Nowata Road in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.
