Taylor Nicks Named USB Director of Mortgage

Union State Bank (“USB”), announced that Taylor Nicks has joined the organization as a Vice-President and Director of Mortgage, NMLS# 1517409.
“Taylor combines sharp expertise with contagious enthusiasm, and she consistently raises the standard for those around her,” exclaimed Victoria Hemphill, Union State Bank’s Mortgage Processing and Servicing Manager. “She brings an exceptional level of passion for customer service and a genuine commitment to delivering the right solutions for every borrower.”
Nicks will work directly with customers across all markets helping to guide them through the homeownership journey.
“It often becomes more than just a loan, it’s a chance to connect with people, hear their stories, and be a small part of an exciting milestone in their lives,” explained Nicks. Every borrower has a unique story, and I enjoy getting to know their families and goals while guiding them step-by-step through the process to make it feel less overwhelming.
In addition to working with customers, Nicks oversees USB’s mortgage team.
“I really enjoy mentoring and training others so they can confidently help people achieve homeownership,” said Nicks. “My goal is to continue building a strong, confident mortgage team while developing clear processes and procedures that create a smooth, seamless experience for both our borrowers and our internal teams.”
Nicks has over a decade of experience in the banking industry.
“I wanted to continue growing in my mortgage career, and when the opportunity with Union State Bank came along, it felt like the right fit. The culture here is something special,” said Nicks.
In her free time Nicks enjoys spending time outdoors with her family. She also is involved in a mentor/mentee program with “The W”, a networking group in Wichita, and “ICT SOS”, an organization focused on ending trafficking in the Wichita area.
Nicks’s primary office is located at Union State Bank’s Wichita East branch located at 10111 E. 21st Street in Wichita, Kansas, but she will be present within all markets.
