Union State Bank announced the promotions of Christina Wilson to Senior Vice President, Commercial Lending and Alexis Wolfe to Lead Internal Auditor, recognizing their commitment to serving customers and strengthening the organization.
Wilson has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Commercial Lending following strong performance and sustained growth in the Edmond, Oklahoma, market. Her leadership, customer relationships and business development efforts have contributed to exceptional results for the bank and its customers.
“Christina has done an outstanding job within the Edmond market, and due to her expertise, contacts and customer loyalty, our resulting performance has been extraordinary,” said Eric Kurtz, President and CEO of Union State Bank. “Congratulations to Christina on a job well executed and done.”
Wilson brings more than 20 years of banking experience to her role. Her career path has included positions across the industry, ranging from mortgage lending and back-office administration to consumer and commercial lending. She said the variety of roles has shaped her relationship‑focused approach to banking and allows her to better understand customer needs.
“It’s really about getting to know people and their goals,” Wilson said. “If you are confident and you know your products, you can build a long-term, trusted client partnership. I don’t just lend others money, I teach them and give them the opportunity to invest in their future.”
In addition to her professional responsibilities, Wilson is actively involved in her community. She serves as treasurer for Bessie Coleman Allstars, an organization focused on aviation opportunities for children, and holds leadership roles with Professional Women in Building through the Central Home Builders Association and CrewOKC, a group supporting women in commercial real estate.
David Braly, Executive Vice President and Edmond Market President, said Wilson’s leadership positively impacts both customers and colleagues. “Christina has strong business development skills and a great work ethic. She works tirelessly to bring new customers to the Edmond market,” Braly said. “Christina pays attention to detail and takes very good care of her customers as well as the bank. She is great to work with, a valuable member of the team, and she makes all of us better.”
Union State Bank also announced the promotion of Alexis Wolfe to Lead Internal Auditor. In her new role, Wolfe will lead internal audit engagements throughout the organization, supporting accuracy, efficiency and consistency in bank operations.
Wolfe joined Union State Bank four years ago after working in public accounting as an auditor. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in accounting from Wichita State University, a master’s degree in accountancy from Emporia State University and earned her Certified Internal Auditor designation in 2025.
“Auditing is like a regular checkup for your bank,” Wolfe said. “We catch small issues early and look for ways to improve processes to keep things running strong and make sure customers feel safe in putting trust in us.”
Wolfe said her favorite part of the role is working across departments and helping teams improve workflows that ultimately benefit customers. “We get involved in every area of the bank, and people reach out when they need help because they feel confident in our support,” she said. “My goal is to make processes more efficient for employees and improve the experience for customers whenever possible.”
She is also actively involved in professional organizations, serving on the Heartland Compliance steering committee and as media specialist, and as treasurer for the Institute of Internal Auditors Wichita Chapter.
Kayla Bean, Vice President and Director of Internal Audit, said Wolfe’s promotion reflects her consistency and leadership. “Alexis consistently demonstrates exceptional attention to detail, a genuine willingness to help others and a team-first mindset that strengthens everyone around her,” Bean said. “She is a tremendous asset, and we are very lucky to have her on the team.”
Kurtz said both promotions underscore Union State Bank’s commitment to developing leaders who support customers, employees and communities. “Christina and Alexis exemplify the professionalism, integrity and dedication that allow us to better serve our customers every day,” he said.
